Bigger is Better In Whale Songs

"The noises play a similarly important role during mating season when males sing long, low-pitched songs to indicate their reproductive fitness to females. Females select mates based on size and estimate that by evaluating males' songs: Larger males can take in more air and hold notes longer."

More Disturbing Ocean News
I feel badly that most of the ocean news I post here is dire and catastrophic, but that's simply what is being reported in the news. Hopefully, I will find something positive to report soon, but today, the news is we're overfishing our oceans. Our oceans are in trouble!
